i genuinely think this is because women self insert more than men.
like if they see wlw they self insert as the woman in the position they want. (along with being attracted to men.) some women even self insert in mlm stuff...
where men don't rly self insert in mlm bc they are afraid it makes them gay and threatens their masculinity or something
idk no proof for this obvi, this is just hypothesis from seeing what other women say (and maybe projecting my agp a little idk lol)
